There are many things about anxiety disorders and how they develop that are unknown. It is very important to realize that anxiety starts inside of you, and the cure must come from within as well. No matter the heroic methods of modern medicine, a person on the brink of death, often times will not survive unless they have the will to fight. They must find the desire to live within themselves.
That isn’t to say that anxiety is life threatening or even related to dying. Still, the act of believing that you can overcome the panic can be helpful in dealing with panic attacks.
Anxiety does not come from a virus or bacteria as is the case for many illnesses. It is not something that you can treat with medicine alone, even though a lot of medication for panic attacks is available. It is also not something that you can fix overnight. Your anxiety took years to develop and it may take time to cure.
Your childhood is most likely the cause. There is a specific time or event in your past that has managed to seep into your present life and is responsible for your anxiety. You must confront the root cause of your problem if you want to get rid of it. You need to dig deep into your past and face whatever difficult experience is causing your present anxiety. Once you do this, you can regain control of your life and begin enjoying it once more.
You should take steps to find faith in yourself and look to a Higher Power that can help you overcome the struggle of anxiety.
Believing that you can find deliverance in a Higher Power and having faith in your own capabilities, are two very important steps to consider. These are the first Self-Help-Anxiety treatments to consider. Without these two things, life can become meaningless, making it difficult to find the desire to make your life better. However, once you begin to find within yourself and a Higher Power again, you will also find the strength to push away and overcome the limits your anxiety places on your life.
